LIT Saratoga with National Champion lacrosse players Kara Cannizzaro, Sammy Jo Tracy and Colleen Magarity provides the perfect opportunity to prepare yourself for the next level! Our Lacrosse Intensity Training sessions are available to ALL girls lacrosse players regardless of team or club affiliation. See you at PBA field in Saratoga this August.


Kara Cannizzaro

Former midfielder for the University of North Carolina Women's Lacrosse Team. She was the 2013 NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player, Winner of the Honda Award for women's lacrosse and also grabbed the 2013 Patterson Medal, the top honor given by UNC athletics. Kara Cannizzaro returned to the University of North Carolina women's lacrosse program as the team�?????�????�???�??�?�¢??s director of development and operations in the fall of 2017. Her duties include engagement with alumnae, social media, team logistics, scouting and more.

Sammy Jo Tracy

Former attack/midfielder for the University of North Carolina Women's Lacrosse Team. A big-game player with a history of success in NCAA Tournament games, two-time All-ACC performer, and has participated in the Carolina Leadership Academy as part of the Rising Stars program. Tracy is a dedicated and passionate teacher of the game. She founded the Draw Control Academy shortly after graduating from UNC to help develop the offensive game of club teams across New Jersey, Connecticut and New York. She also coached in multiple clinics while still a student-athlete. Currently she is the assistant coach for the Arizona State University Women's Lacrosse Team.

Colleen Magarity

In Magarity's four-year career at Northwestern, the Wildcats compiled an 85-5 record and won three NCAA Championships. The Wildcats were 21-1 her freshman season, completed a perfect 23-0 record her sophomore season, were 20-2 her junior season and 21-2 in her senior campaign.
Her senior season she was a team captain and the defensive leader for the NCAA Champions. She was a third-team IWLCA All-American and earned first-team All-West Region and first-team All-American Lacrosse Conference honors. She was named to the All-Tournament team for both the NCAA Championship and ALC Championship. Her junior season she was named second-team All-ALC and capped her career with a Northwestern Student Athlete award in 2011.
A three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, she began her career at midfield for the Wildcats and shifted to be a defender, playing in 84 games and starting the final 45 of her career spanning her final two seasons. She lists the 2011 NCAA Championship as her top collegiate moment as the Wildcats regained the NCAA Championship defeating Maryland, which beat Northwestern in the 2010 title game.
She graduated from Germantown Academy as a two-time high school All-American and was the 2007 Tri-State Lacrosse Player of the Year, Times Herald Player of the Year and Philadelphia Inquirer Player of the Year. She was ranked the No. 8 recruit nationally by Inside Lacrosse.
She was a member of the U.S. U-19 World Cup team and had played against Hannah Nielsen, a member of the Australian team, prior to the two being teammates at Northwestern and co-assistants at Colorado.
Magarity graduated from Northwestern in 2011 with a degree in human development and psychological services and a minor in business.
